Can self-made documents be authenticated?
In case a paper or document is made by an individual without the certification seal of a competent authority in Vietnam, can it be used as the basis for authentication of copies?
Originals of papers and documents that cannot be used as a basis for authentication of copies, including:
Papers and documents prepared by individuals without certification and seal of competent agencies and organizations (Clause 6, Article 22 of Decree 23/2015/ND-CP dated February 16, 2015).
Therefore, papers and documents made by individuals themselves, without the certification seal of a competent authority in Vietnam, cannot be used as a basis for certification of copies at a competent authority in Vietnam.
Can papers prepared by individuals be used for authentication of copies?
