This Law contains some new, remarkable points, such as:
Application of marriage and family practices;
Conditions for getting married;
Settlement of property relations and obligations and contracts between domestic partnerships, i.e. men and women living together as husband and wife without marriage registration;
Agreement on establishment of the matrimonial property regime;
A child who is born within 300 days from the time of termination of a marriage shall be regarded as a child conceived by the wife during the marriage period and many other specific provisions.
