Vietnam visa

Visa means a document issued by a competent authority of Vietnam to a foreigner to grant entry into Vietnam (Clause 11 Article 3 Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of foreigners in Vietnam No. 47/2014/QH13).

Types of Vietnam investor visas

According to Clause 3 Article 1 Law No.51/2019/QH14 dated 25 November 2019, comes into effect from 01 July 2020, there are 04 types of investor visa in Vietnam:

ĐT1 - issued to foreign investors and representatives of foreign organizations invested in Vietnam with the contributed capital of 100 billion Dong or more or invested in preferential investment industries, trades or geographical areas decided by the Government.

ĐT2 - issued to foreign investors and representatives of foreign organizations invested in Vietnam with the contributed capital of from 50 billion Dong to less than 100 billion Dong or invested in preferential investment industries, trades decided by the Government.

ĐT3 - issued to foreign investors and representatives of foreign organizations invested in Vietnam with the contributed capital of from 03 billion Dong to less than 50 billion Dong.

ĐT4 - issued to foreign investors and representatives of foreign organizations invested in Vietnam with the contributed capital of below 03 billion Dong.
