Da Nang is a good destination for investment in Hi-Tech, Information Technology

Da Nang is targeting one of the large economic centers of Vietnam and the Southeast Asia, directing as a Science and Technology Center, a smart city (Source: Decision No. 393/QĐ-TTg dated March 18, 2020: Approval of adjusted master plan of economic - social development of Da Nang city to 2020, vision to 2030).

Da Nang invests heavily in infrastructure for Hi-Tech and IT to establish itself a good destination for investment, such as: Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, Da Nang Software Park, Da Nang IT Park.

Da Nang Hi-Tech Park is located in Hoa Lien and Hoa Ninh communes, Hoa Vang district. It is aiming to attract hi-tech resources, a destination for both domestic and foreign investors, to promote the science and technology development of Da Nang city and the central region of Vietnam. Da Nang Hi-Tech Park offers land rental exemption or land lease preferential price prescribed in Decree No. 04/2018/ND-CP dated January 04, 2018 by the Government and Decision No.12-2019/QD-UBND dated February 14, 2019 by Da Nang People’s Committee.

Da Nang Software Park consists of two buildings located in Thach Thang ward, Hai Chau district, in the city’s downtown. It is equipped with IT and telecommunication infrastructure to offer office lease to software companies, digital companies.

Also, the city is continuing to establish the second Software Park at Thuan Phuoc ward, Hai Chau district and Da Nang IT Park in Hoa Lien commune, Hoa Vang district.

The Hi-Tech and IT human resource in Da Nang consists of the existing work force and the fresh supply from various Universities, Colleges, ICT training centers, vocational training centers, such as: Da Nang university: Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, University of Science and Technology, FPT university, FPT Polytechnic Da Nang, Aptech Computer Education, etc.
