Co-living of men and women without marriage registration

Hi DMS Lawyers in Vietnam! I am a Viet Kieu. I used to live with a domestic partner, but we were not married. We bought a property while we live together as a couple. Can we ask for division of common property of unmarried couples in a similar way to married couples ? Could you advise me if we can request to apply the agreed matrimonial property regime ?

Settlement of consequences of the co-living of men and women as husband and wife without marriage registration involving foreign elements:

In case of receiving requests for settlement of the application of the agreed matrimonial property regime; relations of men and women co-living as husband and wife without marriage registration involving foreign elements, competent Vietnamese agencies shall apply the provisions of this Law and other relevant Vietnamese laws to settle these requests (Article 130, Law on Marriage and family , dated 19 June 2014).
