Hi DMS Law office in Vietnam! We are overseas Vietnamese spouses looking to adopt a Vietnamese child. Could you advise me about grounds for recommendation of Vietnamese children for adoption ?

Grounds for recommendation of Vietnamese children for adoption

The recommendation of a Vietnamese child for intercountry adoption must be in the interests of the child, taking into account the interests of the adopting person on the basis of ensuring the following basic requirements: the child's remarkable characteristics, hobbies and habits; the child's integration and development ability; the adopter’s financial conditions, family and social environments and the adopter’s wish (Article 35 Law on Adoption No.52/2010/QH12 dated 17 June 2010).
